There are a variety of Cardiff Bay cruises to choose from. You can have a blast on a high speed rigid inflatable boat with Bay Island Voyages. If you like the wind in your hair, The Open Boat is a must. Aquabus do 45-minute trips, taking in the nature reserve, the Barrage and Mermaid Quay.
Mermaid Quay is great for a romantic meal and a few drinks after the Bay tour. With a wide range of restaurants and bars and outdoor seating, you also get a stunning view of Cardiff Bay.
If you fancy something more homely, take a picnic to either Roath Park Lake or Bute Park. You can chat and enjoy a dreamy walk until your hearts are content, all while learning more about each other.
